We consider dismantling inequities to be a part of our mission, which is why The Root Social Justice Center strives to be a physically and financially accessible in our space, programming, and actions.
What this looks like at The Root:
Queer & Trans-affirming
Wheelchair-accessible and gender-neutral bathroom
Two wheelchair-accessible parking spaces
Use of the space is by donation
The Root does allow dogs and has furry visitors from time to time.

Childcare available upon request
We are striving to be fragrance free*
Nut-free environment (peanut & tree nut)
*We cannot guarantee that events hosted at The Root that are organized by outside entities will have interpretation, assist with childcare needs, or that they are fragrance-free, but we encourage groups using The Root to explore how to make their events and gatherings accessible in these ways.
