Join Youth 4 Change and The Root Executive Director, Shela Linton, to help build a grant/scholarship for Black youth in honor of The Root Co-founder, Angela Berkfield. 

Scholarship will be for
- Black Youth residing in Windham County, Vermont
- Educational usage, not limited to 2 or 4 year traditional college experiences. Education comes in many forms.

At this Y4C meeting youth are invited brainstorm ideas to determine criteria for eligible youth for this future scholarship. Interested youth can join a scholarship building committee (s) and receive stipends at a rate of $15 per hour. 

We especially encourage Black youth to attend and lend their voice and skillset to creating this amazing Black youth centered form of support.
