This powerful statewide exhibit uplifts the voices and lived experiences of BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) in Vermont. Featuring portraits from 2017 to 2025—including images shown at the Vermont Statehouse—the project challenges racial microaggressions and stereotypes while celebrating the rich identities of BIPOC living, working or attending school in Vermont.

Since 2014, I Am Vermont Too has offered a vital platform for BIPOC folks living, working or attending school in Vermont to tell their stories, spark dialogue, and call in majority-white communities to reflect on how racism—especially subtle, everyday racial microaggressions—impacts BIPOC lives across our state.

Come witness the resilience, beauty, and truth of our communities.
