Since The Root team will be off for Juneteenth on Thursday June 19th, we won’t be holding our usual virtual BIPOC Writers Group session that day. We hope you take the evening to rest, reflect, gather inspiration and celebrate Black joy and liberation! ✨🖤

BUT—we’re still gathering this month! Join us in person at The Root on Thursday, June 5th for a cozy evening of writing, sharing, and connection. Bring your writing and your beautiful selves—we can’t wait to write and share with you! 🫱🏾‍🫲🏽
