The FREE Back to School BIPOC Hair Clinic is returning August 30th—booking information will be announced soon!
We are so looking forward to hosting our Back to School BIPOC Hair Clinic on Saturday, August 30 at The Root Social Justice Center (28 Williams St, Brattleboro, VT).
This FREE* annual event connects BIPOC community members with talented stylists who specialize in caring for textured hair. In a region where it can be difficult to access culturally competent hair care, this clinic offers an essential service—just in time for the new school year. More than a haircut, it's a celebration of identity, care, and connection.
Booking details are coming soon, so stay tuned to our social media channels for the latest updates: facebook and instagram.
*While we offer this event for FREE, generous donations from folks who are able to contribute what they can make it possible for us to bring this event to our community for FREE year after year. If you are able, please consider making a donation! You can make a donation at the event or online here. Your support makes all the difference!
Are you a stylist interested in participating?
This is a paid opportunity, and we’d love to hear from you!
